Metzenbaum Scissors are ideal for cutting through soft, delicate tissues. The blunted ends and the range of sizes for curved and straight shanks available allow this versatile instrument to used across specialties and procedures. They can be used in numerous applications including dental, obstetrical, gynecological, dermatological and ophthalmological procedures. The instrument is similar to a Mayo Scissors, but is lighter and features a slimmer shaft, with blunt tips. These scissors are offered in both straight and curved varieties to accommodate a range of cases. Supercut scissors are designed to provide the surgeon with maximum control. These scissors feature specially-designed razor sharp upper blade edges to cut effortlessly and cleanly through dense or delicate tissue, have diamond-cut micro-serrations on the lower blade to grip tissue and prevent slippage, and feature black-coated handles.
