Designed with a serrated jaw to firmly grip the needle, this model also is available for left handed surgeons. The short length of the instrument allows for suturing in smaller fields, like ophthalmic procedures. Tungsten carbide needle holders provide unparalleled control while suturing. The precision-milled, pyramid-shaped teeth ensure a dependable, non-slip surface. Some needle holder styles are also available with smooth tungsten carbide jaws, designed to hold the smallest sutures in microsurgical and plastic surgery procedures.
